Creative Music Spaces
Creative Music Spaces is a course that encourages you to explore your own creativity while considering how you might facilitate similar music experiences with kids.
About the course
Creative Music Spaces is a course designed to spark your own creativity while helping you imagine how to facilitate similar music experiences with kids.
It reimagines the way we teach keyboard and guitar—blending preferred music, improvisation, and songwriting with scales, technique, and theory.
Together, we’ll build creativity-infused music spaces that prioritize connection, expression, and a lifelong love of music.
Dr. Sarah Gulish, CEO of F-flat Books, leads this video course and companion PDF workbook, drawing on 15 years of experience creating welcoming, judgment-free spaces for musical exploration. Her “start with success” approach prioritizes the joy of creating music through a simple, systematic framework that includes warm-ups, technique builders, improvisational prompts, songwriting starters, build-a-song techniques, alternate tunings, and more.
