About the course
Do you work with students on reading or communication goals?
Before children are ready to learn letter names and sounds, they need to develop a strong foundation of pre-literacy skills—and music can play a powerful role in that process.

With over 25 years of experience, Kathy shares dozens of evidence-based, music-centered strategies to support children’s reading and communication development. Topics include: current research, assessment, phonological awareness, rhyming, syllables, phonemes, technology tips, and more.
This course includes:
72 ready-to-use songs and resources
12 assessment tools
Over 3 hours of video instruction
A 215-page e-book packed with additional information and resources
A live Zoom Q&A Office Hour with Kathy
